Women in the Mountains. We’re a rare breed, and we’re fucking rad. Somebody said you ski like a girl?! That’s a compliment. I've skied with guys who were worried that I couldn't keep up with them, but when I started flying past them on a powder day, that all changed. Sure, my legs aren’t as long as yours. But that doesn’t mean that I can't shred just as hard. Thankfully, I've since landed myself a boyfriend that is highly appreciative of the fact that his girlfriend can shred.

And, so, to combat the Boy’s Club mentality that the outdoors world struggles with, here at TGR, we’re all about sharing the stories of women who are getting out there, doing awesome things, and inspiring others. To celebrate all of the kickass mountain women out there, we’ve put together a playlist with girl power written all over it.
