Nice work people, very impressed. Snowmass is looking way more bony than I thought.

Haha... ironically it didn't score well at all. Yet again another case where I probably would have done better doing slalom turns and jumping over lots of 2ft rocks.

Powder snow skiing is not fun. It’s life, fully lived, life lived in a blaze of reality. What we experience in powder is the original human self, which lies deeply inside each of us, still undamaged in spite of what our present culture tries to do to us. Once experienced, this kind of living is recognized as the only way to live–fully aware of the earth and the sky and the gods and you, the mortal, playing among them. Dolores LaChapelle

That sucks, are the points cumulative? If so looks like you have to ski the bad ass pillow line lookers right of the straight line you want to do to make up some points... should be rad

Doesn't matter to us, way to go! I'm starting to hear a sickbird going off in your future @ Snowbird.

Thanks for the fullish report Raps.

As always congrats all and good luck today.

Nads - the important thing to always remember are the three keys to scoring well:
    linescore
    linescore
    linescore

this is extra important at places like snowmass with really defined linescores that may not be intuitive to first timers.

HELL YEAH - GoNads had the top score today and got her podium finish with a 3rd place finish She only missed the win by 1.5 points - and all on borrowed skis

And Z killed it again today - ended up 17th i believe - way to go man - considering there were 70+ to start that is a great finish.

Time for a crazy night tonight - this town is nuts this weekend with the celebrity downhill stuff goin on......

Woohooo for the maggots killin it this year in the comps

Here's a few rando shots from today.

I decided to ski what the judges wanted, "safe", "easy", "turny" instead of what I wanted to do, and it worked! Sucks being 1.5 points from $1000 though. Straightlining yesterday cost me a whole lot of gas money...

Top of my line.. I ran first so it actually looked like this when I went.

    Bottom "drop" haha.

The Crested Butte Crew, 2 black eyes, 1 broken binding after the largest (60+ft to rock) air of the day, 1 split chin and a whole lot of anti-Canadian jokes.

Oh, and for the roomates, I am now the proud owner of a 6x2ft orange Stihl banner! FUCKYA! I'm more stoked for that than anything.
