This is How the World’s Best Freeskiers Train At The Utah Olympic Park

In the mountains surrounding Park City is a place where the best freeskiers in the world converge to perfect their craft. The Utah Olympic Park is an oasis for progression, attracting both young-guns and pros alike. From bobsled to ski aerials, it is a winter sports mecca all year round. What makes the facility so unique to skiing is its recent addition of a brand new freestyle jump. The jump actively mimics the lip and shape of something you would find in the parks of Breckenridge or Copper.

Learn More About the Utah Olympic Park here.

Last fall TGR and the Utah Olympic Park compiled three of sports best for an epic session. Devin Logan earned a silver medal at the inaugural slopestyle skiing event at the Sochi Olympics. McRae Williams has won two X-Games medals, and Tim Durtschi has long graced our films with a style all his own. The day was set for something special.

Riding with a couple local area groms, the group showcased what the new facility and jump can offer. From the young guns on up, progression was witnessed and fun was definitely had by all. The Utah Olympic Park offers a wide variety of classes and rates for beginners on up. Learn more about what they do here.
