The final day of the Freeride World Tour 2023 is here! After an insane season traveling to some of the world's best freeride spots, the FWT athletes have convened in the holy land of freeriding - Verbier, Switzerland - to face off in the final round of 2023. Canada's Katie Anderson has already locked in her first FWT overall crown, but is definitely ready to to make it four wins out of five for the season. The world title race in the remaining categories is coming right down to the line, and current leaders Ludovic Guillot-Diat, Justine Dufour-Lapointe, and Valentin Rainer will have to hold their nerves and deliver one more performance to secure overall victory.
Editor's Note:
UPDATE: The 2023 FWT Verbier Xtreme Finals were canceled today due to unsafe avalanche conditions. This brings an early end to the 2023 FWT season.

It’s unfortunate to hear that the 2023 FWT Verbier Xtreme Finals were canceled due to unsafe avalanche conditions. Nonetheless, it has been an exciting season for the FWT athletes as they traveled to some of the world’s best freeride spots. Congratulations to Canada’s Katie Anderson for securing her first FWT overall crown, and to Ludovic Guillot-Diat, Justine Dufour-Lapointe, and Valentin Rainer for holding their nerves and delivering impressive performances to secure their overall victories in their respective categories.
