Head down to the arid Peruvian Andes with a team of North Face climbers including Emily Harrington, Nina Williams, Matty Hong, and Jacopo Larcher, and watch as they bolt new routes and complete first ascents. Peru's sparsely-populated Pitumarca District, located nearly two miles above sea level, is far off the beaten path, but it takes more than rocky roads and unseasonable snowstorms to slow down a climbing team of this caliber.

There's certainly a moral quandary associated with heading to a foreign country and drilling holes in the local mountains, but it's worth noting that the local community is generally on board with climbing projects in the region.
