Vincent Gagnier Bends Laws of Physics to Win Boston Big Air

Over the past several days, skiers and snowboarders have been taking over Boston's historic Fenway Park baseball field with a 140 foot-high big air jump as part of the first-ever Boston Big Air. And last night, Quebecois skier Vincent Gagnier – part of a family known for absurd tricks that test your understanding of physics – blew minds again with this as-yet-unnamed switch trick in which Gagnier managed to not only stop, but reverse his rotation mid-trick.

The trick won Gagnier first place ahead of Andri Ragettli and Jonas Hunziker. On the women's side, Germany Lisa Zimmerman won with a big cork 7 and a stomped switch rightside 720, pushing ahead of Sweden's Emma Dahlstrom and Norwegian Tiril Sjaastad Christiansen.
