Skida Gets Back to its Roots with ‘Cross Country Revival’

If you’ve spent any time in a liftline this winter then you’ve probably noticed skiers and snowboarders rocking buffs, headbands, hats, and face masks in all kinds of fantastical colors and patterns. That my friend is the work of Skida, who’s garnered a cult following in the outdoor industry over the last few years. Despite their growing popularity, Skida’s origins are rather humble and began with a pair of cross-country skis in a quaint Vermont town. The story goes that the company’s founder Corinne Prevot bought some colorful stretch fabric and whipped up some custom hats for her XC teammates at the Burke Mountain Academy. Skida’s first-ever short film looks back on the brand’s beginnings as well as the original gals who helped foster the company to where it is today. It’s a beautiful love letter to the sport that started everything for them, and an open invitation to everyone to join them on a pair of skinny skis.

I really love Skid’s head bands and face masks. It seems like their designers have an endless imagination to think of such beautiful and unique designs. Thanks for sharing their story! Roof Repairs
