The Back Forty: Rediscovering Adventures Hidden in Our Own Backyard

It’s easy to overlook our home trails and local haunts when there are so many exciting and exotic places to travel with our bikes. Take it from Casey Brown who typically spends her bike season trotting around the globe for competitions and film projects. She’s lucky if she gets a few weeks at home to explore. But last year was different for her. With travel and events suddenly put on pause, Brown found herself presented with a unique opportunity to stay home and see what her home province had to offer. Joined by pals Micayla Gatto and Georgia Astle, the trio hit the road with hopes of exploring British Columbia and the Yukon’s beautiful mountain bike communities. All around their adventures made for one hell of a road trip that wasn’t all that far from home.
