Accomplice wouldn’t be a proper mountain biking film without some good ol’ Utah freeride, so we linked with the McCauls to get the job done. In the world of mountain biking, there’s perhaps no better canvas than the orange dusty spines of Virgin, Utah. It’s a landscape where riders can express their full imagination, push the limits of the sport, and of course compete at one of the most infamous mountain biking competitions there is: Red Bull Rampage.
For someone like Cam McCaul, who’s all about creativity, nothing compares to riding in southern Utah. The other thing better than that is sharing the experience with his little brother Tyler, who now calls this area home. For their segment, the duo linked up some top to bottom Red Bull Rampage style runs like it was just another day of riding. Tyler even used the opportunity to check off some goals by visiting an old feature of his: El Nino. The 60-foot step-down drop has haunted him ever since the 2013 Rampage. His plan was to do a suicide no hander, but he couldn’t bring himself to let go of the handlebars. Will Tyler stomp it this time around? You’ll just have to watch and see.
