Good tattoo parlor in Denver or Boulder?

Just as the title says... I'm getting a tattoo and I live in the Denver area. Any suggestions for a good place?

Twisted Sol @ 14th & Ogden. Ask for Mike or Josh. Top notch work.
I've got more suits than Liberace, but less than Eastvailhucker.

bumpin this up, lookin to get some work done live in denver. Heard the following are good parlors, but looking for opinions/specific artists. It will be a side panel, black and white, pretty detailed (not some tribal arm band). need a good artist, have a general idea in my head but want someone who really work with me and throw in their own artistic flair and make it come alive.

    Th'ink tank
    mantra tattoo
    brave new world

    ideas, opinions?

Th'ink Tank is good. Adam, Scottie, and Fish all kill it.

Lifetime of Sol is where I go. Josh Ford is the man.

Because everyone has one? Were tribal arm bands popular in the past? Wasn't someone in this thread mocking them now?

I had no problem with tattoos back when only a few people had them. But now you can't get a cup of coffee without overhearing some dumbass explain to some other dumbass how meaningful the scribblings of some half ass "artist" on his arm are to him.

Have you ever seen a tattoo on a 70 year old? It looks like a fucking burn.

I've got a friend who makes t-shirts. He's actually a really good artist. Anyone who wants to adopt some of his art as their symbol can order 2 dozen shirts with the same original pattern. You can wear it every day for years. But the beauty is that, when you decide that symbol is kind of stupid, you can just get a new shirt. Let me know if you're interested.

Yes I have seen a tattoo on a 70 years old and its does look like shit, and guess what he doesn't care. He liked it when he got it, it provided a sense of comrodery while in the armed service and now a shirt covers it up all the time. No harm done. As a matter of fact he looks at that tattoo and still remembers the men who got it with him and their service and sacrifice.

Have you ever thought some tattoos are designed by the actual person with the tattoo, and if that tattoo has meaning and for whatever reason brings happiness to another person (no matter how vain or superficial) why do you care?

you can now continue to troll.

does your friend make dress shirts? I need some new "schweet" none trendy graphic tees.

The guy who got a tattoo in the military with his buddies in WWII or Vietnam is definitely not the one I think is stupid. There are some events or connections that may make permanent writing on your body not regrettable. But I think most people overestimate what events or connections are that meaningful.

I may be trolling, but I feel that, if I can stop one person from getting a stupid abstract that looks like doodlings I made in the margins of my notebooks in junior high on their bicep, I will have done the world a favor.

Ooooor you can mind your own fucking business and let people deal with the consequences of their own actions like the adults they are, besides, if you prevent a douchebag from getting a stupid tattoo, how am I going to make sure I stay away from said douchebag upon seeing them, dumb tattoos are a great example of darwinism =)
