    What tires for Ford F150

Need to replace tires on my F150. Any recommendations? Would like to only run 1 set of tires if possible so looking mostly for good road performance and 3Peaks snow rating. Don't do too mcuh offroading other than the occasional camping trip to Moab driving on service roads.
Truck is a Ford F150 XLT FX with 22" inch rims.

Nokian Outpost nAT / End Thread Very similar to the Falken AT3Ws I had on previously in snow and winter conditions, they are great off-road, and best of all - they are way quieter than the Falkens I had on previously. Crazy quiet honestly for an AT tire considering how well they do in snow and offroad.

That much better? Care to summarize? I’m out of the loop but gonna need some E rated tires soon.

I&#39;ve been running Toyo Open Country A/T III on my F-150 the past few years as a do-it-all and I&#39;ve been pretty happy. Not too loud. I split time between living in low elevation suburbia and the mountains where we get a lot of snow, so lots of highway driving involved.</p>

There's about a zillion tire threads here already. Nothing special about a F150 for tire selection.

Those 22" wheels mean you're gonna pay a shit ton for any tire you choose.

This, the outpost&#39;s are great. Run them on my 2020 F150 Limited.

I've got KO3 on my F150 and it was surprisingly good going in the storm through the I70 corridor. Not Blizzak good but still was pleasantly surprised. My mpg dropped a bit and they are definitely stiffer than stock Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT. I travel between UT, CO and AZ for work so the temp range is too wide for dedicated snow tires. Consider swapping those rollers for something in R18-20 range.
Was looking at Outpost but couldn't get them quick enough in my size

Thanks for the tips so far. And yeah, I've been thinking of swapping out the 22" rims. The truck is new to me and the rims came with...

Michelin Defender LTX is a great choice for highway performance. They don't look as cool as Wildpeak AT3Ws but seem to have much better manners on the road

Get rid of the 22" rims to begin with and get 18's. KO3s or KO2's should be fine.

I’d say the ko[emoji639]’s are quieter and much smoother. Better traction, I live on a steep hill and barely had to use [emoji640]wd to get home, with my ko[emoji638]s I had to use [emoji640]wd almost every time after the first winter. Other than that they look almost identical

Do you really want KO2/3 or similar if the most off roading you are doing is FS roads? Is there not something more road oriented that would be a better compromise?

Ko3 are bad ass. Way better than ko2. But if you don’t need that much lug there are better quieter options.

    What tires for Ford F150

I don’t. Just need to trust it in snow, good on pavement , and competent on service roads. Truck currently has general grabbers arctic LT but have slid out on them. Work ok when fourWD engaged and couple hundred lbs of sand in back but kind of sketchy when in twoWD.

22 inch wheels, yikes. If you dont off road, tow, or haul heavy loads, I think an E rated tire like the KO2 and KO3 are overkill. I also put Nokian Outpost nAT on my truck and had the Falken AT3Ws, which are now hard to find with the new AT4W, which are a different animal.

A search for Truck Tires leads to the 70 page thread devoted to this topic. Continue the discussion there so we dont have to repeat ourselves.

Seriously…. The site is on its deathbed, we’re in the middle of a spring heatwave, skiing is marginal and some of you are bitching about repeating yourselves… here’s a thought- don’t click on the thread. Super easy to ignore.
