    Utah Medical Cannabis Cards

My coworker also works his main gig offering the cheapest medical cannabis cards in the state. The owners goal is get anyone in our state who wants this medicine immediate and affordable access. His business model is to break even, nothing more.

New/renew one year cards are $70.
There is always a $15 yearly fee paid to the state on top of that.
    $85 out the door.

If you have specific questions post up and if you don’t want to post, shoot me a pm and I can answer indiscreetly as well.

If you’re asking, would I qualify?

You do. Pain is a qualifying condition and you need no further program your word.

HIPAA says I can’t tell you that but there are some “in the spotlight” type people here that do have cards. Some you’d expect but a few are rather eye opening.

Moral of the story: everyone loves the weed.

Also stoners are known to misspell things late in the evening as they too are only human.

As to your proof of pain, that’s your word. Not your program. I took MRI films in with me. They were not even looked at by the person granting me my magical pass to purchase up to 113 grams of cannabis flower AND 20 grams of cannabis concentrate (dabs/edibles/carts) per month in the state of Utah. Legally. It’s glorious.

There is no tax. You do pay a $3 state fee for each purchase transaction, not item. So stock up on green meds at once to keep the fees down.

First responders are protected under our medical cannabis laws and can gain their own card as well. There are stipulations on usage a certain amount of hours before shift but it’s manageable.

Intermountain Health will also employ medical cannabis patients in certain positions. You’ll need to disclose your patient status upon completion of your pre employment UA during onboarding.

Utah State employees are protected as well with a medical patient disclosure upon hiring.

Let me know how I can help you.

Does this apply to first responders who carry guns as part of their job? Not shit stirring, honestly just curious. Interesting times we live in.

Be careful getting legal advice from stoners online. I luv me some weed but one should get their own legal advice about "protection" in a state like Utah.

last week a weekend stoner bud told me about getting nailed twice at one of the BIG industrial projects we have had up here, so he cuts his hand with a olfa knife, has to fill out a med report so they want him to piss in a cup.

Another time a dog makes his room in a routine check, they find 3 little residual specs of MJ in his gear so they want him to piss, in both cases he was not stoned and didnt have any MJ in camp but he had smoked recently enough before coming to camp that he couldn't pass a piss test so instead of getting caught he just quits

MJ is legal up here but if pissing clean is part of the terms of employment you could have a problem

    Yes there are medical dispensaries.
Logan, Brigham City, Ogden, Bountiful, SLC, Park City, Orem, Provo, Price, St. George. I may be missing a few.

But it’s not anything like a rec market so I’d get why friends said that.

No, as far as I know, they can’t partake because of federal rules.

It's probably also worth mentioning that you forgo federal LODD benefits if you use medical cannabis as a first responder. I believe that benefit is somewhere around $400k.
