    Classic Ski Movies?

High n dry around here, I’m trying to deliver the stoke around the holidays.

Running list of classic ski movies to share with the crew…

    So far I’ve got:
    Aspen Extreme
    Ski Patrol
    Ski School
    Better off Dead
    Out Cold
    A couple of local films:
    (Boot Deep)
    (Creatures of Habit)
    (Circus)

Anything else to add? Bonus points if it’s LCC local and you have a link.

    Classic Ski Movies?

How can you start a thread with this title and not list Hot Dog The Movie?

For the record, Ski School mention earns respect.

You are missing the one movie that encompasses ski bum life more than any other movie ever has:

    Scrapple (1998)

Can usually be found free on YouTube. Bonus points: co-produced by Alta alum, Scott Zenko (RIP) Double bonus points: soundtrack by Taj Mahal and Widespread Panic.

Although, I will watch Swift, Silent and Steep, Downhill Racer and Tangerine Dream anytime. These are to skiing like the Grateful Dead Movie, Rocky Horror and Woodstock are to RnR

    Classic Ski Movies?

When I was 9 The Last of the Ski Bums, Downhill Racer and the first Bond movie with skiing came out. Good cinema for a ski obsessed kid. Snow Job was cool because it’s a skiing/heist movie. Spellbound has skiing in it as does Inception though they aren’t ski movies per se. Steep is an awesome doc. If you enjoy laughing your ass off, I would highly recommend…

The New Zealand glacier segment in Last of the Ski Bums is the most aesthetic powder skiing clip of all time IMO.

    Yeah. The title was off
It’s movies that have skiing as a theme.
    But not actual ski films.

Not a classic ofc, but I really like Head's video they just put out - Unified. Nothing fancy, just good skiing being enjoyed in the moment of it all. Also, not into park by any means, but clips at the end.. nutty.

Also not a super classic but The Ordinary Skier was pretty awesome. I stumbled into on my YouTube feed recently and honestly watched it more than once.
