    NY/Brunson still scare me.

I’d agree IF KP were healthy but…

T Wolves are willing to crush themselves every possession - whatever it takes. Nuggets are losing rotations, taking halfhearted shots, letting people pick the ball from behind.

I love the level of effort from the T Wolves. It's awesome.
You captured my feelings well, EWG. I’m hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see how the Nuggets win the series. The Wolves are showing a hunger and maturity beyond their years.

With that 25 point game 1 win, the 2023-24 Celtics now have the MOST 25+ point wins (19!) in a single season in NBA history.
and there are still up to 20 more games to add to that record...

Best record in the league (by a significant margin) AND a new NBA record for blow-outs? I stand by my comment.
Of course, as the 15-16 Warriors know, it all means nothing without a ring.

Knicks running out of players. Indy still has a shot. Knicks should be able to win 2/5, but they’re banged up.

Beverly gets suspended 4 whole games for aggressively and purposefully throwing a ball at a fan's head. TWICE.

The inconsistency with punishment from the NBA is laughable.

He should miss a month for this at least. If this was [insert middling player here] they'd get the book thrown at them as a warning to the rest of the league.

Agree. That’s BS. And don’t forget the other inappropriate interaction with the ESPN reporter.

2023/2024 NBA THREAD: WHO WANTS TO GO ON PARADE?!?

Should be at least 10 games minimum for any player, and quite a bit more for someone like Beverly who has a long track record of doing dumb shit. WTF is the league office thinking?

That Brunson injury was weird last night. He got hit on the left foot, was holding his junk in pain, and they kept saying it was a right foot injury. Looked like he got tapped hard in the dick, whatever it was, the team went south fast without him on the court.

ETA: just watching the Celtics pregame hype. This will be Tatums 101 post season game at age 26. That’s impressive

I could be wrong but based on everything he has said it sure sounds like he didn’t bother reaching out to her. It’s one thing to sling the ball at some guy you’ve been jawing with all game, but to miss so badly you hit some woman in the head certainly isn’t a great look. If I were him I would have grabbed a game ball, asked some Pacers stars to sign it and have it sent over the next morning with an apology note. If you fuck up but respond well people tend to be pretty forgiving.

    Agreed.

How do you think people respond if the first question you face about your fuckup is met with the response question, “do you subscribe to my podcast?”

Mazzula clears the bench, down by 14 with almost 6 minutes left? Where’s the fight here. That’s a weak move

    Damn! Nice second half Cavs!

Big time against a great team on the road and still without Jarret Allen!

    See ya in the Land!

No Allen and no KP seems like a fair wash. What the heck is up with the Celtics at home in the playoffs? 14-14 in their last 28 is kinda crazy.

It was just under 5 minutes and 24 points.

Maybe the Celtics should just play the scrubs game two at home the rest of the way. The team had no fight and couldn’t make a shot. Hopefully an aberration
