The evo price sucks for the seller. But 4d is pretty cool. When you look down it’s clear view. Not the usual foam space we’ve had for decades.
A bit gimmicky. Since you shouldn’t be looking down.
But it is cool.
The sad part is the price of replacement lenses. But if you can buy an off season sale price, just buy a new kit. Two lenses for not much more than a single lens.

I own them. Not gimmicky at all. The light it lets in is very helpful as well as having that lower peripheral helps with contrast when the light is super flat. If the lens were different color, black out, I would buy these to add to mine. I own the photochromic red and storm rose flash. The storm rose flash is an amazing storm skiing lens.

I have the 4D mag as well and It's great. Feels almost claustrophobic to go back to a "Regular" pair of goggles.
Regarding the increased lower vision: I like it because I'm always looking for the visual of my gloves in my lower peripheral vision to make sure my hands aren't dropping.
