My 2¢ - Good luck to the buyer… I had the 18/19 2.0, and absolutely hated it. It was an evil, pingy ski which was only ever fun at Mach speed on perfect corduroy or an untouched 3”-6” of fresh. As soon as the groomers got roughed up or the powder became chopped, keeping them pointed in the same direction was an exercise in futility.

    /rant over.

Ok, good beta. Haven’t skied them. Got sucked in by the double titanal, waist width, orange topsheet, and price.. good thing my 100-110 slot is full and didn’t take a swing.

My kid skis on these and he has a different take but then he loves mach looney. Watching him I'd say they crush it pretty hard as a charger if you have the skill set.

Actually the dims on these 134-106-124, 23M, ~2200g, 2 layers of titanal... it's not that far off the AM99 comp Marshal has brewed up.
Move upside and let the man go through...

Thats the old version, which your assessment is spot on. However, they changed the layup and design the following year, its a very different ski. Im normally a Moment and ON3P skier, bought a pair of the 21/22 Dictator 3 188 last season on a whim, and now absolutely LOVE them as a DD at mammoth. Carve very well and carve like a narrower ski. Strong mid section. At the middle mount point they feel balanced and versatile. Feel great in a variety of conditions. I was very surprised.

I would describe it as normal. The right amount for a directional ski. It has enough tip and tail splay that allows you to slarve and release out of a turn easily, so balanced well with the bite of the camber under foot.

Good to know! I've switched over to the darkside, so it's Moments or other cult skis for me... looking at the C98 for a Mammoth DD
