    QST 92 Vs Declivity 92

I've been using the Armada Declivity 92 for the past few seasons. Huge fan.
Looking to freshen up the carving skis with a new pair.
I can get the Salomon QST 92 for about half the price as another pair of Armada.

Any thoughts on how these two skis compare for all around frontside use, east coast hardpack/ice?
Mostly groomer carving. I have other skis for any other days and conditions.

Something else entirely. A proper frontside ski mid 80s or skinnier. If you get deals on Salomon, get the Stance 80

Good tip, I'll check it out.
Still would love to hear thoughts on the QST 92 as I generally prefer a full wood ski from my freestyle background. I'm no racer trenching turns so generally something forgiving is helpful.

I’ve had a pair of the QST 92’s for the past 3 years or so. Tried them as an daily driver and they worked well for the east coast. Could set a decent edge on ice and they had some float on a powder day. They were a ton of fun on a nice groomed trail.

While they did everything well, I added a set of QST 106’s last year for powder and packed powder and used the 92’s only on firm conditions. This year I’m swapping the 92’s for a pair of S-Forces for those firm days. I skied them a couple of times last year and they hold nicely on ice, makes me way more confident than the 92’s. Also tried the Stance 84 which I thought was closer to the QST than the S-Force. Felt better than the QST in firm conditions but still pretty light and snappy.

If you’re looking for a firm condition east coast ski from your Salomon connection; consider the S-Force. Three of my group are using our connection to get pairs this year. If you’re looking for more of an all around ski check out the Stance, they have the playfulness of the QST but hold a better edge on ice and are more stable at speed. It all you can get is the 92’s, they are a fun ski.

I suck so keep that in mind when you weigh my opinion.
