So allegedly the Texan/Minnesotan lard ass Russell Bentley (people posted his vids in this thread) who’s been doing propaganda for Russia for a decade was kidnapped, raped, and murdered by Russian troops. Oh well.

Well Sputnik says
“Brave Soldier, Aid Worker and Truth Teller: Story of US-Born Donbass Volunteer Russell Bentley

He was shelled to death by Ukraine, apparently.

Ukrainian-born Republican Spartz proposes reducing military aid for Ukraine.
Republican Representative Victoria Spartz, the only U.S. lawmaker born in Ukraine, has submitted amendments reducing the Ukrainian aid package set to be voted on this Saturday.

It is either Republicans are a special kind of pieces of shit or I don’t understand something really basic.
Regardless, a procedural vote passed via bipartisan cooperation.

Russia claims that Ukraine didn't shoot it down, that it malfunctioned and just crashed. As if somehow that makes them look better.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

So the world is filled with tubular entities. Food goes in one end and shit comes out the other. Sperm goes in and babies come out.

Such is heroism these days: "moderation" in defense of innocent life and the barest of justice.
And once again Tolkien's analogy comes right: the eagles show up late. Decisive, perhaps, but late.A woman came up to me and said "I'd like to poison your mind
with wrong ideas that appeal to you, though I am not unkind."

In a way yes...
The Putenite wing of the GOP is very angry... usual fucktards like Gaetz, MGT, Boebert, Bishop, Davidson, Gossar, Massey, Perry, Norman, Davidson, Biggs, and Tiffany, but 112 R nos... but also 110 R yes.
Shocked that the DNC leadership whipped all Dems into yes, including the whacky progressives including antisemite fucktards like Tlaib and Omar into voting yes.Originally Posted by blurred

On 8085 Ukraine R were 101 yea, 110 Nay. Dems were 210 yeah.
4 R and 3 D no votes.
Small but I think significant correction to Summit above because it means R's do not have a even close to a majority in the HR that would pass this aid without Dems. I thought he might have been talking about the Israel vote, but that was very different numbers.

Omar’s district includes a number of Ukrainians with churches (Catholic*, orthodox and baptist this goes back over a century) and at least one cultural center. It’s not odd if you think she reps her district.
*in the post ww2 mess that is Eastern Europe suffice to say that’s the name and they identify as such, whether the border they were born in and chose to leave was somewhere else

"The whole package that will go to the Senate, which could pass it as soon as Tuesday." So Tuesdays vote is just to combine it into one package? Can anyone throw in a monkey wrench and kick I can down the road for another month? I'm confused.
