NATO membership is voluntary. The only country interested in having Ukraine join NATO is Ukraine. WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IS XYZ?

There is only one country invading/threatening its neighbors in the area... who could that be???

Europe has the standalone capacity to liberate Ukraine from the Russian occupation. The question is do they have the will? Poland does. Hell, they have the will and capacity to roll tanks into Red Square, if not for the Russia nuclear deterrent.

If true, why do you care? How does that lead to thinking putin is in the right? How does that make invading Ukraine, raping Ukrainian women and kidnapping Ukrainian children ok? Let's talk about what is actually occurring: Do you believe that large authoritarian countries have right to dominate and control their neighbors, and use military force to occupy and annex any democracy that dares not be a puppet? If so, why?

If not, what are smaller countries under threat to do?

Why do you think NATO exists? Why do you think small countries want to join it?

When in your mind did NATO go from the good guy, a defensive bulwark against expansionist Communist Russia, to threat-to-Russia-bad-guy? When did Russia go from communist imperialist bad guy to totalitarian imperialist yet-some-how-good guy? Explain this?

What alliances do Russia, Iran, north Korea and China have? You don't know. They aren't democracies. They could have an offensive alliance. You have know way of knowing. You can easily know that none of them have "your" country's interests in mind.

Yet when countries which would see us fail could be stymied, you say cut the baby in half? Why? That makes no sense.
