Huck and hope, and when in doubt straightline out.
I like to take enough drugs to shut off my brain so it doesnt get in the way of my body.

^^^^Last Sunday I saw a grown man scooching down a green trail on his butt with skis and poles laid across his lap while his wife/girlfriend said, "oh come on, can't you at least walk down?" He had another 1k' of scooching ahead of him. It was both hilarious and sad. I'd be shocked if that dude ever put on a pair of skis again.

When you're the best skier on the mountain, there are no "tough trails". I can ski anything with my eyes closed. Honestly it is starting to bore me. This year, I had buddies throw snowballs at me while I descended, just so I could feel some sense of danger.
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

At Killington the weekend before Easter and it was super foggy, but the snow was decent. You couldn't see more than 50' in most places. Over at Bear I came across somebody down and then realized she was sliding down the trail on her ass. A ski patroller was with her carrying her skis and poles. She had a long way to go to the bottom. That was a first for me.

Run into someone if I’m going too fast.

When I ski the famed Molly Hogan Bowl at A-Basin, I stand at the top, envision myself working my way through its steeps and rocky couloirs successfully, get into the zone, wack the cornice a bunch of times, and fly away into its seemingly endless gnar. It’s so dreamlike, that at the bottom, I feel like I’ve just woken up from a fantasy of snow and gravity.
