old school cruisers: where to find?

i need a new townie bike for going to the store, etc. would love to find an old Schwin single speed cruiser w/a big basket up-front for carrying groceries, 12 paks, etc. any idea where i might find one of these bad boys? i tried googl'ing, no luck. i will also call around to some LBS in the area, but thought someone might know of some site/store, etc that has these for sale. want to keep it cheap. thx!

Get one of these for $100:

From here (click on "complete bikes" at the left column):
    http://www.chucksbikes.com/store/

This place also has cheap cruisers:

I'd like to know what these look like in reality.

    Freshies -

I just picked up two cruisers on Craigslist for $40 each. Had em fixed up and made rideable at my local shop for $50 each and they're GREAT.

Search Craigslist, in the bike section, for "beach" or "cruiser". There's lots out there.

There are a whole bunch out here at Garage sales, thrift stores etc. i can look and charge shipping for some if i find them. I got a sweet one for $30 it was practically brand new and my friend bought a vintage cruiser for $3 and all it needed was a bit of chrome polish. I'll post here if I find some.

    CJ and powrangler,

thx for the updates/help. let me know if you guys see anything sweet for sale in your respective 'hoods. i am in marin county (sf bay area) and truckee (tahoe), so it would have to be soemthing sweet to make it worth either the drive to santa cruz or to pay shipping from WY...
