Best Freeride - Help Choose The North Face Guts For Glory Photo Contest Winners

We've narrowed the top 25 The North Face Guts For Glory Photo Contest freeride photos as determined by Facebook "likes" down to 10 and it's now your turn to help choose the final winners. The photographer and rider whose photo has the most overall poll votes (we've created a poll for each category, view powder here) will win the Category and Grand Prize Packages from SEABA, The North Face and Atomic. The photographer and rider whose photo has the most poll votes from the remaining category will win the other Category Prize Package. Please vote for your favorite freeride photo in the poll below. Got to say, #1 #6, they got awsome feeling and great views, but for the ''Guts'' part of the contest, i got to say, #5 #9 or #10.... i'm a snowboarder and don't really like big cliff to flat sooo, #9!

GREAT SHOTS!! BUT #10 SHOULD TRUMP THE OTHERS AS BEING THE MOST "GUTSY" FREERIDE SHOT FOR CERTAIN. GOOD POWDER SHOTS IN THE GROUP-----BUT I GOTTA VOTE FOR 10, IT'S THE ONE THAT BEST BILLS THE CONTEST AND HOLDS TRUE TO THE CONTESTS THEME--GUTS FOR GLORY.

Whats up tgr. I would love to go heli skiing, vote for the third photo please! after lg and i got this shot, he ask if i could go back up and try a three or flip off the same hit. i said sure, threw a three and kneed myself if the face and split my chin open to the bone then had to hike/ski back to the alta clinic covered in blood. hook up some votes

Kerry and Ned's photo (#10) received the most Freeride votes. They are the Freeride Category (Atomic skis and The North Face gift certificate) winner. Keep an eye out for an e-mail from us. A reminder of the rules that have been published since day 1...

1) Submit your best Powder and Freeride photos to the contest between 1/16/12 and 3/11/12 at 11:59 PM MST. Photos must have at least 15 Facebook "Likes" to be officially entered, so share your entry(s) early and often.

2) Get your favorite photos noticed by Facebook "liking" them between 1/16/12 and 3/18/12 at 11:59 PM MST.

3) A committee of TGR athletes and staff will narrow the 25 most "liked" photos from each category down to 10 finalists by 3/25/12.

4) On 3/26/12, a Forum poll featuring the 10 finalists from each category will be created to determine the Grand Prize and Category Winners. Voting will remain open through 4/2/12 at 12:00 PM MST.

5) The photographer and rider whose photo has the most overall poll votes will win the Category and Grand Prize Packages. The photographer and rider whose photo has the most poll votes from the other category will win the remaining Category Prize Package.

Thank you to the North Face / Teton Gravity and SEABA for putting on a great contest, we are very thankfull to be the Freeride winners!

Thank you to all who voted!

In Light of us winning by "popularity", there were many outstanding photo's among the finalist that deserve merit. I feel that in future contests, it would be best served and most fair to have a judging poll consisting of just TGR staff making the final heli-ski/prize decisions out of the 10 finalists.
