I'm new, so take my opinion with a grain of salt (if that), but at first glance I'd have to echo akok:

Few thoughts.

1. The buttons next to posts/forums are obnoxious. Too big and too iPhone-y.
2. Looking at an actual post, the bar with the time and post # don't seem to fit in where they are right now. Maybe try to incorporate that with the bar with the reply, etc, buttons?... which leads me to
3. If you hover over the reply/report/etc buttons, the color of those buttons change to make those buttons almost invisible - it's way to close to the bg color
4. In safari, the quick reply box is silly small. [PIC] it's like half as big as it should be. Haven't looked in other browsers though.
5. What's with the weird spacing on the thread listing page? [PIC] Again in safari, but I haven't looked in another browser.


...but I think my biggest issue of all of these is the buttons next to the posts (#1 in my list). I find them terribly obnoxious. Please at least make them a bit smaller.

vB4 is a real bitch to work with in terms of CSS, kudos for being able to bend it into shape to match the current style.

With micropayments allowing most captchas to be solved in india for $.001, and botnets just farming out captcha solving to compromised machines "Your machine may not be genuine windows, unless you enter these two strings in the box below, your computer will shut down in five minutes," what do captchas really accomplish anymore?

The lack of contrast between the dark blue and dark grey border make is hard to look at.

As someone else previously mentioned, the large light colored icons on the left are overly distracting and (in my opinion) pointless. I say change the color (make them a little darker) or drop them if possible.

My guess is that for some reason his first post got blocked by the spamfilter, then a mod 'approved' it. Mods/admins see all the 'blocked' posts/threads too, and if it's their first post the post count shows zero...

How about a fill in the blank. "Change for a ______?"

It would force jongs to lurk for a while until they figured it out, and I doubt any spammer would bother.

I think it would solve a lot of the problems around here (other than Cyber Cop, but I'm sure one of you feels like swinging the ban hammer)

1) Less russians with avalanche concerns that can be solved by clicking on a link

2) Less people signing up in general. Hopefully less fucking retards at least.

Overall looks really nice!

Just a couple really minor styling issues I noticed. I think the section title styling in the user control panel lost the lighter blue background, which helped to define space. Also, "Instant Messaging" font isn't consistent with the other options (this is in the edit profile section).

When viewing the threads in the forum, there is now a lot of open space created by the "Replies and views" being stacked on the right side of the page. I like the longer / horizontal layout of the current forum.
