Pshaw - that's nothing compared to what MIT did to Harvard during their 1982 Football game vs. Yale:

Word on the street was the MIT guys placed this balloon under the turf and ran gas lines to beneath the stands and inflated it remotely, popping it through the grass at midfield.1982: The MIT balloon prank succeeds.

This year's H-Y game. All I have to say is, "Scoreboard, Yale, scoreboard." Crimson tromped the Eli's 35-3 and capped a 10-0 season. Yale played so badly that most of my friends never bothered going into the game from the tailgates.
