Cool Brand new pair of Heidiskis All Mountain 171

I purchased a pair of Heidiskis (All Mountain) at a charity auction while out West. I had the skis for one day prior to my departure back to Panama where I live. Of course I had to at least try the pair of $2,000 legendary hand made skis from Austria on one run prior to returning to the sweltering tropics. I mounted a pair of Brand new Marker Duke Bindings and hit the slope for literally two runs prior to catching my flight. These skies are brand new and retail for $2,000. They are the only skis on the market with a full wooden core that runs from tip to tip. They only make 500 pairs per year and each one I hand made. They use White ash. Quoted from the site “Every ski is individually crafted with the very best materials: mature Swiss White Ash wood cores, superior quality P-TEX 4000 hard bases, high end and extra wide Rockwell 48 stainless steel edges and vertical ABS sidewall construction. All models are finished with highly technical clear polimatt top sheet.” Website for more info: http://www.heidiskis.com/index.php?id=10

I am selling these skies and bindings for $1,600. You are getting a brand new pair of $2,000 skis and brand new $300 bindings for less the cost of the skis. Clearly the All mountain is not the ultimate touring ski and if requested I could sell the skis without the bindings.

Feel free to call 203-803-9415 with any questions

I don't believe it. Scientists for years have tried to make skis with a full wooden core than runs from tip to tip. It's just not possible.

I'll need photos of the core before I commit to buy your skis. Please cut them open and show me the core.

maybe you could donate them back to the same charity that they came from, instead of being so damn greedy......

on second thought, i'll take 'em. spring is right around the corner here on the east coast and i'll be needing a decent pair of rock skis....you said all mountain right? $17 hundy is well within my normal rock ski budget. just post a couple of pics.

    Gringo loco,
Welcome , now get the fuck out!!
Dont come on this site and let your first post be one to sell gear. You have made four large mistakes.
One, you posted this in the wrong forum. We have a place called Gear Swap. By you posting this shit here, you bump off stoke, like trip reports.

Two, you will not sell these here because you have not history with us. No one will trust you

Three, your skis are shit and this crew will have no need for them. a

Four, we sell and buy here at or below wholesale. You are high if you think someone will actually take these off your hands

Take your skis and go the fuck away!!!

I'll take 'em! Email me, gearswap@jong.com. Do you take money orders?
Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

If you live in Panama, why the hell did you buy a pair of $2000 skis?!?! Plus, these skis are shit now. You already used them, therefore decreasing their value significantly. Please consider taking coltrain's $17 offer. Way to go dumbass!

I almost feel bad about bumping this thing up a little higher but would it be ruining all the fun to suggest this has got to be troll?

ya know, now i'm fucking pissed. a couple weeks ago, i returned from a great vacation. i mean i thought it was great. now here i am, back on the east coast, warm weather, liquid sunshine in the forecast, and i realize that my vacation was incomplete because i didn't get to attend a charity auction while out there. there go the fond memories. ripping all week with my fantastic, healthy, happy kids, meeting blurred, shera, whiteroom guardian, lonestar & crew for the hike into catherines, epic powder at solitude, ice cold beers at gmd on a sunny day after devils castle and ballroom opened after a week of closures. now all i have is this empty, sad, tortured feeling inside. is there a website where charity events/silent auctions are listed so i dont repeat this mistake next year? thanks.

maybe buy a pair of sticks from macdadmorg's torn acl sale? it might make you feel better, its not quite charity, but i'm sure he'd take $2,000 for any of the pairs left...,..

...or an idiot on a horse. I guess I stand corrected. I've got to stop assuming that no one could really be that stupid.

    Those topsheets are ill, though.
