Is there going to be an open qualifier for the Squaw Tram Face comp? Like Mammoth last year? Is there going to be quals for Kirkwood and Snowbird etc.?

Most likely. We're working on it furiously right now...as well as some other stuff that I arranged this weekend. (Hint: it's gonna be totally kickass for the N.A. riders who want to qualify for next year's FWT.)

Hmmmm, do I risk bipedalism to enter the qualifier? Conditions are gonna play such a huge part in how insane that face is gonna be.

Qualifiers will in no way be on Tram Face. In fact per FWT rules, no skier is to ski the face 30 days prior to competition. And to reiterate, if there is a sister qualifier event only the winner will be given a spot in the FWT Tram Face event. Also, the general objective of Qualifier events is to gain a spot on the FWT the upcoming season (ala WQS in surfing world).
