Market Analysis:
Kush was dethroned as the most submitted strain for the first time since May, and for only the second time this year. Diesel, garnering twice as many submissions as Kush, became the month’s top pot for the first time since October 2007. The Kind and Mids indices rose slightly from their previous month’s average (by $10 and $4, respectively) and are now both well above their YTD averages. Meanwhile, the US Price Index dropped $28 from September, finishing $12 below its YTD average. The top five submitted strains (with average price) were: Diesel ($434), Haze ($411), Kush ($460), Northern Lights ($433) and Jack Herer ($435).
