Thanks for the concern but my dogs don’t live in my back yard. They live in my house, where dogs belong. I try to stay on top of the dog poo (you heard me) but the snow and lack of sun shine, not about to search the yard with a flashlight after work, makes it hard to get out there any other day than on the weekends.
All I’m tryin to say is dogs crap a lot. Agree?

If you name her Denali and live in a mountain town, expect 10 other dogs to run to you when you call for her...

Kipu falls on Kauai was the coolest swimming hole I have ever been to.

    or "deogee" (D-O-G)!!!

I've heard that a dog responds well to a two syllable mane that has the accent on the second syllable, good fer yelling!!

    Tia, Lulu, Lily, Kia,

I'm not sure how the cool Hawaii names work for that.

She's purty, does she like belly rubs?

    For the Aussie influence- Sheila...

Or Maggie (Since mags are offering names and she is a female- maggot would not be right)

Also if Maggie is selected then maybe the full name should be Maggie May (Rod Stewart singing it- not really Aussie but a Scotsman)

Sheila - Endearing term for a fair dinkum women or slang for a woman according to some web sites on Aussie slang.

I was waiting for this one, it's come up every single times we have this thread, which is a lot of times.

Two better ones are "Stay" and "Dammit".

    "Come, Stay!"
    "Sit, Dammit!"

skibee, she does like belly rubs. And she has taken to walking around the house muttering things in dog langauge. I think she may be senile. It's actually quite endearing.

So, we actually just said fuck it, and despite all the good name suggestions, we went with Annapurna. Which for me, has morphed into Ape. Her middle name is unofficially Lily however.

I'll give this one up because we didn't use it but "DOG", pronounced: Dee-oh-gee say it fast. I'm sure I ain't the first to think of it but it would be a cool name. We settled with "charlie", he just looks like a charlie.
