    i think the outback started in 97, so a 97 or 98 outback could probably be found pretty cheap. got my 98 outback for $5k in 2005

    maybe a grand cherokee from that as well?

    Looks decent. Could be kind of a pig on gas. I need to look into the 2.2. Our 2.5 burns oil almost a quart of 5w-30 synth round 5K miles. Oil analysis didn't turn up anything wrong.

    i'll agree with those, but i must say it has to be any toyota tacoma before 1998.....those things are balls to the wall, indestructable.
