So I am coughing up some lovely dark brown phlegm.

And its definitely coming from my lungs. Sweet. Merry Christmas to me.

I've been sick for a few days, but only noticed this was coming from my lungs once the congestion in my throat and sinus' cleared up. I wrote it off as a cold or something until now.

I have had pneumonia or some other mystery lung illness twice in the past couple years. Its been tons of fun. See these threads for the stoke.

The second time it happened the docs at my school just brushed me off as a hypochondriac.

I am so fucking done with this shit. It doesn't matter how much I exercise, I can never seem to be as strong as I should be, and even when I do get into shape, I still have these random days every couple weeks where I am just weak and worthless as shit. Just ask Adimmen how I just felt apart on our trip to ski Grizzly last year. There is a bunch of other symptoms that I can just barely put my finger on, but I basically never feel strong any more.

This was supposed to be the year I was going to get after it too. I need some new lungs. I was going to go skiing today, and its an awesome day, but fuck, guess I'll just stay at home and jerk off all day. Of course the doctor's offices are closed for the next couple days, and my boss is going to be pissed that I have to take time off during the holidays (I'm working in a rental shop for a pass over my break).

Fuck. Sorry guys, I know this thread is useless and that I just need to see a real doctor, I just needed to vent a little.

Last month when I had brown phlegm like that it turned out to be pneumo. As soon as they put me on antibiotics I started noticing a difference within 24 hours.
    Don't wait too long...

Just finished 2 rounds of z-packs to kick the same thing. Doctor told me that it is common with athletic folk, especially in mountain communities to sometimes be a little more susceptible to illness as you get your lungs in awesome shape and aren't always around illness as much as someone in a cubicle or school or enviro where there is a greater number of sick people surrounding you and allowing you to build up immunity. If you're working in a rental shop, tourists come in and cough on you and if you haven't been exposed, it's like your immune system becomes a virgin to infection again. Start your Emergen-C!!!!

Yea, that sort of makes sense, especially the whole rental shop thing, but what really worries me is that this seems to be a chronic issue, and I think there is something bigger causing this shit.

And yea, I've been drinking like five emergency's a day.

I am going to see a doc that actually knows what they are doing soon though, and hopefully they will realize that its more than just this one illness.
