Good Ole Chaos at Australia’s famous surf spot, Snapper Rocks

Snapper Rocks is one of the premier breaks in Australia. The first break on the infamous man-made “superbank” in Queensland, Australia, Snapper Rocks is known for being one of the longest, hollowest and best waves in the world. This spot has a surplus of stellar tuberides with high octane, heavy, sandy barrels. You’re gonna want to find a local pal to show you the ropes at this highly localized break for your fist handful of times surfing it. But the payoff of getting acquainted with the Rock is worth at as you are all but guaranteed to pull into one of the best waves of your life if you play your cards right.

Here we have a classic surf edit full of carnage, spitting overhead swell, and picturesque empties all set to some peaceful surf slide guitar. Can’t help but wonder how the vibe of this video would switch were it set to some head-bangin’ thrash metal as might be appropriate for the footage.
