    Anyone in Silverton this weekend???

    I'll be in late Friday. be on the hill both days.

    anyone rented the Fischer 106's down there?? 99.9% sure my 86's will suffice, but there's supposed some weather heading in by the weekend.

    Yes...rented the Big Stix when I was down there a couple weeks ago. I loved 'em. Of course, another member of our group had Intuitiv 74s and wasn't having any problems...but I had a freakin' blast on the 106s.

    You'll be fine. After the first 10ft of the first run the last thing you'll be thinking about will be the skis.

    I'd rent the 106's from them....it's been REALLY warm down here. I was up there on Sunday and it was probably close to 55 degrees at the mountain. I'm sure after a week of this weather, stuff will start getting pretty exposed...so I'd rent unless you really enjoy core shots.

    we're staying in Silverton. leaving Summit at 6pm on Friday. should be an interesting drive.

    if this weather keeps up, they'll be downloading to the base of Breck here soon.
