    Exclamation Resurrection

I've heard K2's Maiden has been brought back to life. No Maiden type ski was offered at SIA last year, but apparently they've found the ski had enough of a cult following that they're bringing it back. They will be called "Resurrections" or something of that nature. I think I've got a res-erection in my pants. They may be available this season. Has anybody got more info or any pics of the ski?

I talked to someone in SA who skis for K2 who described the testing they did at Portillo. He said they had 10 or so different pairs of white topsheet skis, and asked the riders which they liked the most. The Made'ns came in second after the Seths, and apparently the K2 brass said that the results confirmed what they already knew, the Made'ns are kickass.

PBR? For some of us, that could mean:

    "From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

PBR is a three-letter acronym that refers toNow: A graphic based on Perspective Based Review or Pokemón Battle Revolution, that would be the shit!

(Stoked on getting the Maidens back into production though, really like the 1st gen noodles for pow and trees. Thought K2 had a big hole in their lineup this year.)

I really felt like they got lost in the race-to-rocker everything shuffle. Pity, because they already had the perfect ski. Here's to seing them back on the racks soon!

A maiden with the new "decambered tip" like on the '08 seth's would be awesome. Maybe with a 115mm waist and smidge less sidecut, in the low to mid 30m range. Slightly stiffer too, but not as stiff as the seth. I'd hit that.

Maybe they'll make the ski upside down and backwards

I only skied the AKs once but I loved them...

I've never skied em and only have pretty stiff skis in my quiver (squads, KW extras, mojos) anybody else ski mainly stiff skis and love the Maidens? I'd love to give em a test ride sometime

Uh ya right. Write to K2 and I'm sure they'll make a ski for you.

Why couldn't they just stick with the Kahuna topsheet?

The maiden graphic design looks like it should be a patch on a jean jacket.

Was a pretty interesting line up without them - jump of under 100mm underfoot and traditional shaping to the hell bent phatty fat and rockered

    WTF?

How is that not a logical evolution of the maiden?????

It's got alot of sidecut (28m in 189) and is pretty soft in the tip and tail. If it was a slightly stiffer, a bit wider with less sidecut, and had a "flat tip/forebody" like the seth's, it would be a much better all around pow ski (better at speed, but with more float.

There's the problem. There is no retail. Only way you'll have a chance at getting them is by working at a shop or buying them of ebay or craigslist from some shop monkey who needs some cash.

I have no idea what K2 is thinking leaving them out. If you want anything wider than a Seth, your only choices are pontoon or hellbent.

Whats the point of making the skis unavailable to the public? Surely K2 could generate considerable revenue through re-introducing this ski as there appears to be, as others have pointed out, a large gap in K2's lineup this year.

The only reason for this that i can see is if next years 'Seth' is changed and modeled off the MadeN in terms of dimensions, which was mentioned on K2fourms. A MadeN with a slight tip and tail rocker and a stiffer flex pattern, from the current Seth or the PE would make a very interesting ski one that i would consider buying.

But i really want PBR Made'N's now, FUCK!!!1
