That's why you stand sideways. Otherwise you just look gay.

I think the punchline is supposed to be "telling your parents you're gay," but whatever works.

Managing to get down the hill even though you're totally wasted. Has anybody ever gone up the lift with a monoboarder that wasn't taking pulls from a flask? I never have, at Alta at least.

One time at Sugarbush we saw a guy on a monoboard kinda ripping it and gave him some appropriate encouragement from the chair, even though he was a monoboarder. He stopped and yelled up "It's called a pintail! W-W-W-PINTAIL DOT COM!"

    Monoboarders are gay as shit.

On a similar theme, you know what is worse than snowblading?

Being REALLY good at it. I was at the water ramps this weekend and the guy throwing down the biggest (including a quad backflip, which I have never seen before) was a snowblader. I thought he must have been a skier just training on snowblades for some reason but talking to him I found out he actually snowblades. He then did a very snowblade specific trick of launching a big air with a jump rope and went flyng while "skipping rope" through the air. I don't know if it was impressive, funny, gay, or all three.

Hah, yeah I took our drunken monoskier posse at Alta for granted, there were a few of them that were regulars a few seasons ago. The first time I ever hiked Baldy, I happened upon a monoskier's birthday party at the top of Baldy. They had party hats and a case of beer up there and were passed out against the rescue sled. They then rallied and monoboarded main chute, wasted.

I like monoskiing and girls. Maybe you just need to be sure about your sexuality and not in need to prove anything to anybody, to able ride one ski only. And I have never skied on one or two sticks when I'm drunk.

Gay. Impressively gay, but gay nonetheless.

I think monoboarding is gay, almost as gay as sideways monoboarding. Although I'm not against gay, just gay is gay, like cause I'm so against gay things, but not gay people, cause gay things need to be called out as "gay" and not "lame" or "stupid", since I'm so worried about gay things being gay and want to re-affirm with you guys I'm a manly jong and not gay.

    Got it?

I've skied with Turbo. Gay or not, he's pretty fucking fast on a powder day. He got 4th at the Derby once and I don't think many of you guys could beat him down.
