...but I like my skiing mixed with cheap booze, foul language, and fast women.

Way to tag a big line though.

Cool. The climb looked like more fun than the ski. I like the shots coming up near Ships Prow and the Trough.

Longs is a tough one to get with good conditions. I've been waiting for the north face to fill-in for the past few years and it still hasn't quite gotten there. Longs is all about timing.

pretty much the same thing as the comforts, but theyre now called verticals
they replaced the somewhat fragile (depending on who you talk to) red volcano with a more burly grey pyramid tepee type thingy.

    Burly!

I boiled my thermometer, and sure enough, this spot, which purported to be two thousand feet higher than the locality of the hotel, turned out to be nine thousand feet LOWER. Thus the fact was clearly demonstrated that, ABOVE A CERTAIN POINT, THE HIGHER A POINT SEEMS TO BE, THE LOWER IT ACTUALLY IS. Our ascent itself was a great achievement, but this contribution to science was an inconceivably greater matter.

Definitely a fun climb, especially through the Loft. I have been waiting for the N face for the last few years, guess I am just impatient. I think it would be an easier day overall, by a significant margin. If you knew the route out to the Loft well enough, climbing the Keyhole or N Face and skiing this route would work well too. Keplinger's looked pretty unskiable for 200' below the notch but would be a nice continious vert afterward.
