    Black Crows skis

A new brand, founded by Brunot Compagnet and Camille Jaccout. The skis are built "in Italy". See also here.
    2 models avalaible
    Corvus, 133/103/124 in 196cm. radius 25m. 660E

Navis, same dimensions but in 186cm, a different flex patern for a more "freestyle BC feel". 550E

    A park ski is expected.

    Website no up yet.

Posters on skipass say the Corvus rules : Bomber construction, very stable yet easy to turn... hmmm. To be confirmed.

Demos in Chamonix (Alpine land, snell) and Grenoble (Espace Montagne).

    FWIW.

Just saw two pairs in lift lines in Chamonix recently and they look pretty sweet. I've only seen one pair, the pink ones, in only one Chamonix store as of yet.

I was gonna say...I want a Robinson brother on each foot.

A 196 twin tip does sound pretty sweet though.

Seconded. It could be a Scott Mission on steroids.
And I'm comfortable enough with my feminine side to ski a pink ski, if it worths it.
Any of the Chamonix Maggots interested in a demo / report ?

it's very interesting that they are made in italy. I didn't know of any decent ski factory still active in italy... exception mad for trab, and it looks strange that trab may produce black crows.... it might well be, though, that black crows are made by small enterprises like blossom or spoilt..

According to an inetview I heard somewhere, the skis are built "in a workshop which handmake race skis".

And it's confirmed that it's a dual radius, à la Scott.

I've found that they are made by blossom in valtellina. They are a small size enterprise in the old spalding-persenico environment. They produce skis under their name and for a pair of more brands.

Italy still makes some great skis...just not in huge amounts like the old days...more specialized, like you said...Claudio and Sandro Mazzoni make the SPOILT skis [SPOILT RaceCarve pic...]and from what I hear from them, I don't think they are making skis for anyone else...they have their hands full making their 100 pairs a year. I really want to try the BlackCrowes...they look interesting...
    The more skis, the merrier...

    That's diplomatic...
I'll read it as 'nothing that should preclude one from buying a corvus'
