The New Ski Spy Shot Thread - 07/08 edition

Post your pictures of new skis here, or discuss what others have posted. That is all.

The new 189 B-Squad. Sorry I didn't put them on the correct sides. I was in a hurry and didn't pay attention to the graphics.

A symmetrical ski made by Unity Skis. 150-140-150

    The 181 K2 Coomba

So are the unities symetrical in camber/flex too? seems like a decent idea for parkrat/booter monkies that have like ten different pairs of skis, enough to have one specifially for landing switch.

Once again, SuperGaper will probably chime in and provide more information than I'm able to. He told me the Unity ski was meant to be mounted 4cm from true center. I really don't know a whole lot about any of these skis other than that they are new and they are all hot shit!

Basically, it rings a bell, but I have no useful information whatsoever.

Agreed, they sound really sick. Hopefully they go with Seth Vicious/AK Enemy construction instead of the cap/Apache garbage. A flex like the 189 SV/AK Enemy(whichever is stiffer) or maybe a touch stiffer than that would pretty much ensure that I buy a pair.

this pic went around in a german forum ... infos about it are: it has 118 around the waist and negative camber. I dont have more infos ... k2 kicked out all race skis but two models, focus on freeride/freestyle.

Couldn't have said it better myself and the above teaser picture looks promising.

i dunno, apparently the pro's and xxl's are unchanged this year other than the topsheets, but there may be a shorter and stiffer xxl with the same sidecut added to the line.

Skied with Pete (the owner of Unity) yesterday in Vail and then checked out the factory whilst in Silverthorn on my way home. He's got a full range of skis coming out. Construction looks absolutely bomber; all maple core, traditional sidewall construction. Pretty light as no metal. The factory mount point on the Hiatt 190 is back from where Trevor mounts his . They have a very slight amount of camber.

I've got a set of these on order so will post more pics when they come in.

Pete is just making up some more for SIA - should pick mine up next Saturday. Hopefully then Marshal can mount them for me - at the same time he does my 138's...

I have no means of justifying this quiver crossover, other than i'm spending far too much time in the office and it makes me feel better to make multiple ski purchases.
