Finally got a chance to get to SLC and get on the 192 Big Bro's. Skied two days at Solitude over a variety of conditions. Hardpack, crud, suncrust, light pow, etc.
me = 6' 190lbs, skier for 24 years, moderately OK
comparable skis owned = Sanouk, 1st gen Big Daddy, FFL's
other giver skis = 188 stiffs, S.S. Pro's, FGS's, dp 138(someday they'll arrive)
skis mounted w/916 7mm back from where Splat told me too(for graphic reasons)

This ski friggin rips!! I was shocked at how well it skied basically everything I came across. It carves WAY better than other big skis I've been on and is much smoother on hard snow than the Big Daddy was. It loves big open fast turns but is totally manageable it tight spots/trees. I had no problem changing direction when needed and never felt like I had a 114mm waisted ski on my feet. In variable crud/pow it just powers through and lets you stay centered and smooth. REALLY impressed with how versatile it is. It skis pow great but is definitely not as pow orientated as the Sanouk is. I'm not a huckasaurus by any means but for 10-15' drops it's stiff enough to stand my backseat ass up and ski away smooth. Basically I didn't really find anything I didn't like . Oh yeah, the bases are either bulletproof or Solitude has kind rocks. Rock takeoff to rock landing did surprisingly little harm.
Basically I'm going to ski them everyday I'm in Utah/Jackson and could see them as they everyday ski of choice for an awful lot of people.
