Unless I'm a complite twat the weight listed is for 100cm of ski (so you wanna get 180 skis, multiply the weight by 1,8 and the with 2 to get the correct weights of yer skis).

I would say multiply the weight by 1.8 should be enough

mmmmmh... might be you say that different lenghts of the same ski might have subtle differences in the weight / 100 ski cm...... well, it should be minimal

    Hmm.

The dynafit 10.0 and Havoc is exact same measurements and the weight difference is almost 200gr´s.
Does anybody have a word on the durability of the dynafits?
Yes,it´s carbon, rando ski etc.. but still.
Can it survive any kind of beating or is it a glass jaw?

And thanks for nerding the table up, verb...

The floggings will continue until morale improves.

sorry I never touched and flexed these dynafits! they're brand new and the first "fat" (well, fat by rando standards..) dynafit ever made. Dynafit reputation is OK (albeit their graph is almost always very nasty), but this is their first attempt in a niche they never entered before

I was a bit nervous to include goode and dp in this list, because last year they were both involved in the db ski debacle (very few skis effectively produced despite many orders received), and I dunno whether they resolved all the trouble with the china factory etc. Anyway (from couloir guide):
    www.goode.com
    carbon 95: 990 $
    carbon 116: 990 $

FWIW, I do not like goode's graph

    Thanks, Google already helped.

Lengthes don't suit me anyway (well, except for an AT specific rig maybe).

On Goode vs DP; rumours have it (read it hear somewhere) that Goode is heavier than they report...

heh.... my dear friend, I'm supposed to be a scientist

I made the rank by myself using data from the guide. Huge bore, but I'm planning a lot of skinning this winter (before gettin toooooooooo old for it) and I wanted to be sure - for instance - that my beloved BROs are the lightest non-carbon "around 100" skis on sale

Goode 82 avail for $910 CAD

    www.mec.ca

and 116 avail ebay for $850 or more.

    http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

girguide will be touring on the 116 or the 95 this winter .

I have the older version of the 95 as AT skis with freerides

very light so they are easy to tour on, but get deflected by any snow changes and also easy to oversteer (no swing weight)

overall nice touring ski, didn't like for the lifts

I friend of mine ordered Goodes (82) late last season, and got them within a couple of weeks. And he absolutely love them for touring. I think production problems hit db/dp (the most). That being said, I doubt whether I would order from Goode, as it seems that Goode have acted as complete asses towards the db/dp guys.

I considered them too slim for my rank (<85), anyway...

    K2 shukskan 117/78/105, 940 g
    volkl snowwolf 113/76/100, 799g

Trab freerandos are better: 108/78/93, 754g

very interesting! how they compare with skis in the 1000g/100 cm range... (say BROs, BD Havoc, karhu jaks...)?

I got to fondle those Dynafit FR skis at OR last winter. They seem sweet. Insanely light, great width, and seemed fairly stiff. I'd try em in a heartbeat for a do-all AT ski.

verbier, add those to the list (if you want ):

    volkl mantra at 184cm: 130/94/113, 1094g

edit: to avoid confusion, the weight above is for 100cm, the ski measured was 184cm, 2 013 grams total.

Full review coming in our November issue of Couloir, but in short, that was probably the top AT ski between 85-94mm underfoot. Noticeably lighter than the rest of the field, but quiet, stable, just killed crud.

There's no Dynastar or Salomon in the gear guide and I'm too laxy to weigh my skis. Does anybody know what a Rossi/Look 140 binding weighs?
If you have a problem & think that someone else is going to solve it for you then you have two problems.
