Rusty,
What the fuck do you need a pair of Gotama's in the PNW for? Trust me, I've got a never skiied pair of 03/04's staring at me and it's driving me nuts."These are crazy times Mr Hatter, crazy times. Crazy like Buddha! Muwahaha!"

I've been calling mine my "water skis" they actually ski slush really well.
Unfortunantly we dont really even have slush to ski anymore....If things seem in control, Your just not going fast enough.

This is the closest thread that I can gloat to. Because, I just pulled the trigger on a pair of new, unmounted, 05 gotamas in a 183. 500 bucks. I know its not a perfect price but it ain't bad. Dropped 200 hard earned cash on em and they're sittin' in layaway as I plunk 50 a month and have em by next season when I'll have a use for em. I live in the PNW and I don't think we'll salvage the season enough here for me to break em out earlier.
Was considering an explosiv 180 but I already have an amazing all around ski with less than 25 days on em.
I really needed a nice versatile powder ski for the days it was more than six inches deep. And it takes a lot to get me out of bed for a non powder day.
So instead of buying an eventual replacement for my all mountain board I just complemented it with something for those epic days. I'll leave the k2's in the car for backup at the end of the day if need be.
Woohoo!!!!!!
Now for the AT bindings (freerides?) and the proper skins.

no, I would never make fun of someone's accent. I love diversity. I just misunderstood you.
Which part were you quoting? the price? Yes I was lucky very lucky. Ski shops around here, oregon and washington, are desperate to move inventory.
you can find explosivs, gotamas, legends, apache chief's, everything, every size right now in portland's ski shops.
