    Cape Cod 4 Pic TR

Stuck in Cape Cod with no money to go skiing. This is the result.

Maybe next storm I'll step up my game and shred the outer Cape dunes.

Don't forget about Jailhouse Hill in Barnstable. This is where Jeremy Jones learned to ride. Also, the wiano club golf course in Ostervill also has a decent hill. Not as steep as what you are riding but maybe a bit more vert. Nice one!

Where is your beacon, shovel, and probe? You are in the b/c man! This is essential survival gear! Hopefully you dug a pit and tested things out before dropping in.

Awesome TR! Gets my vote for TR of the year and it's only December.

This dune is just east of South Cape Beach, Mashpee. Thanks for the suggestions, a little more vert would be a good thing. I think I made 7 turns in 5 runs.

It was an odd feeling to be more worried about coastal erosion than avy danger. I thought about the avy gear since the sun caused some natural activity, but then I figured I could just outrun it into the ocean.

I also love big-upin' one's little brother and his hometown hill.

Beebes woods in falmouth has some nice little tree shots (I imagine, never been in there with snow [/tourist]).

I xc skied the Woods Hole golf club last winter. Some nice little rolls and holes for the schussin'.

i think in this case a life jacket would have been much more helpful.

No life jacket but I did wear my sunglasses with croakies. As I look back at these pics the lack of vert cracks me up, if only these dunes were a thousand feet higher. Any suggestions for outer cape dunes to shred?

    CAPE SHRED

    nice tr!

the dunes up near long nook are killer! did some shreddin on those year round, sand and snow. when yer done, grab yer board and paddle out for some waves.

the cape kicks ass. i learnd to ride at hyport gc in 85' on a burton performer.

some great moraine hillsides in the maple swamp area of sandwich with very little underbrush on north facing and eastwood ho gc in chatham has one of the biggest fairway hills on the cape.

    ah the cape!

    thanx for the stoke!
