    Thumbs up Crested Butte 2010-2011

I figured Crested Butte needed its own thread now that ski season is up and running. So, let's see some stoke and talk some smack and whine about how crowded the Anthracites are now that someone put a photo on the net...

I'll start it off. Oct 27 in the Anthracites:

Oct 28, look hard for the tracks:

Another stellar day in the CB backcountry. Windloaded faces are where it's at!

    Some excellent cream cheese!

    Snow was silky smooth today

it appears that in my attempt to look core, i actually ended up looking like a discolored marshmallow.

This weekend was highly rad! Good for February... Bluebird pow in the alpine, snowstorm pow in the trees, roosting the snowmo-drome, slash turns, gap jumps, and most importantly gangs of the raddest mofo's and mofo-ets I know. Yeah!

    Frank's Pow Plus.

A lot of good skiing thursday, saturday, and sunday. Not just good for November, either.

Looks nice, happy birthday! Sorry about the coal though.

The same thing has happened to me on my old Fritshis - I had to run tape around the top of my foot & down around the bar, with a chunk of wood wedged between my heel & the heelpiece in order to get back to civilization. Black diamond fixed me up with a repair, no questions asked, once I got there

I made this playing around with the new camera and editing software. So please excuse some of the cheese, just trying to figure out good angles and transitions, etc.

Cool! Reflection shots look awesome, like how you see your jacket moving opposite of your arms in and out of the reflection.

Sweet vid Eric! Way to get some different angles/reflections/etc. Wouldn't have guessed in a million years that you would pick that song (but I like it)

squirrelmurphey -- nice shot. Maybe ski it after every storm for a really nice time lapse at the end of the season?

All it takes is time and money!

And white stuff for the nose.

Can't believe how well the reflection shot from your goggles worked, Eric. Sick!

I am stoked to see this thread shape up this season. Team effort led by the godfather of all things CB, The Golden Boy.
