Really difficult to choose 5. I've been here in front of the computer looking at the entries for a while and still can't make up my mind.
Since there were so many entries I think I should be allowed to choose 6. Here they are...
(voting ends October 22 noon CA time)

    1.- Squirrelmurphy

    2.- LegoSkier

    3.- gholman12

    4.- Mavrick

    5.- Microcosm

    6.- aj77

I liked the composition of Legoskier's shot. Nicely done.

The pumpkin photo could have been killer if the photog had held the camera high up in the air and angled it down to get the pumpkins stretching off into the distance. That would also have done away with most of the sky, which isn't that interesting.

Hey! It was a self portrait, with a pumpkin as my tripod!
Hahaha, but yeah I agree it would've been cool that way.
I'm also honored to be in here, lots of awesome photos in this contest.

Oops. Didn't realize that. I just read this thread and not the original contest thread.

Anyways, cool shot. The fill flash is perfect.

Yes, now that you mention it, and I look back at the photo, that would have been killer. But nice shot nonetheless to microcosm

You can right-click on your picture and hit "copy link location". Then, above the window where you write your posts, click on the yellow and black symbol with a little mountain. Paste the link and that should do it. De nada.

Haha, no worries man. Thanks for the compliments, I'm still working on flash photography. I'd consider myself on the newer side, and the more I learn about light the more I realize I need to learn more!

Sweet! I'm honored (and so is divegirl since it's her ass). Thanks all.

I will put up the next MPC sometime this weekend.

All the photos were really, really good. I really liked microcosm's photo. I can't describe why, but frankly I like the fact that he didn't show more of the pumpkins...the one on the left with the bold color is awesome. I like sky, and this one wasn't overexposed, so that's why it's good. His thoughtful nature with the expanded sky and bright pumpkin go well together. Squirrelmurphy's was good because of the rock pattern. If the point of the competition was people in nature, his would have stole the show I'm sure. But yea, it's my ass, and I voted for it. Not to mention Lego is a great photographer.
