    Awwww, now I want one!

Danes are great family dogs. Your daughter (I'm assuming that's the kid in the pix) will have an awesome companion.

    Congrats!

Thanks all, I can barely sit here at work on a sunny 70+ degree day.
This will be our third Dane. Yes, my daughter is loving this and so are we. Hayley did not leave my side all weekend, guess I am the favorite!

And they have black ones still available.

Oh yeah, congrats, Buzz. Cool-looking dog. Just keep it away from the scary clown.

What a great looking pup. I am a dog breed jong, so I had to google the "Brindle" aspect. It's hard to believe that this:

Is going to turn out something like this:

...I'm sure the same could be said about any breed, or aninmal for that matter.

+1 on that. Dogs that grow up kids are more protective than the parents sometimes.

    Great looking pup.

Did this on our first, never again. The ears take a while to train to stand up and Kaya put on a good 40 lbs before they stood up well. Thus losing some of her "childhood playing". Our second Dane had floppy and so will Hayley.

Her ears are marked so well I would not even think about cropping.

Tim, yes, looking at about a 140+ lb dog.
It is hard to believe and it happens fast.

I'm really glad to hear you won't do it.
Cropping ears and tails is illegal in more and more places now, too.
