Wow! I still have my voucher from last season when I was injured, and I should be wrapping up what needs to be wrapped up here in my life. This is a possibility!
It all depends upon whether I am accepted to the teaching certification program and have to quit my job. The program starts June 1, so this trip could be squeezed in if that happens.
I won't know until mid-April though. Hope I could still get a flight w/ flyer miles then!
I luv the mammoth crew & would love to get up there again. So count me in...tenatively.
Thanks for posting up, Yogachik.

Good choice of weekends. I should be there and I'm leaning toward some hot springs camping.

After looking at the photos from last year I'm interested but I have some questions first:
1. Are skirts required?
2. Do we have to be into stuff animal porn to attend?
3. What if we don't meet the apparent 40 yo age requirement?

Its on my calendar now. I plan to try. Right now it looks good.
Anyone want to share travel from the Bay Area? Maybe lodging too, unless we want to camp at Fort FKNA.**

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

Anyone with an age discrimination, or any discrimination for that matter, can opt out.
Forgot to mention that those Bring A Friend coupons are a bit different this year. You have to make a "reservation" three days in advance, online, and pay in advance. I think the lift ticket is $42 and 5 people can use one coupon, for up to 5 days. Not sure if weekend is included since I never received any in the mail this year and have yet to pick them up at the mountain.Artist formerly known as yogachik.

Would love to try to make this but it depends on how the schedule for my class works out. Won't know until I get the syllabus done in a few weeks. Been wanting to hit Mammoth for ages and this may be my last chance for a long time.

hmmmm...
Will there be a frozen camping 2AM sh*t-show?
I am thinking that I am starting to like my decision to extract myself early from the crime-ridden, ovepopulated (not to mention snow-lacking) caribbean dump that was my last year in Puerto Rico...hope to see the Cali Mags there."The beacon says you're a douche."

I'm in like always. The snow will still be good and there should be more than enough for a good session out at the Paranoids like 2 years ago

I'll be there the 10th and 11th (semester ends the 9th). Hopefully DG will be able to make it. She is on the stupid quarter system so her semester ends in June so hopefully it won't be crunch time for her.

Don't think about next quarter, just focus on this one. I went to UCLA, also quarter system, and the best way to deal with stress is to be in the moment. Looking back, it's amazing how quickly those 1/4s flew by, and how much work it entailed, how quickly the mid-terms (and finals) occurred. I still can't believe how many books I read in a week (was an Eng Lit major). You just do it.
And, it's super important to get in some vacation timeArtist formerly known as yogachik.

Bummer, I was going to be the official drinking gimp at the Mill, but that is the one weekend we can't make it. Have fun.
