Help me plan my trip to Utah
Okay, here's the deal so far. I'm flyinh in next Tuesday night (March 2), and leaving the following Monday morning. I've got a place to stay (Chez phUnk). Wondering if I'll need to rent a car, or will I be able to score rides from the Utard collective?
So far the only definitive plans are to hit Alta on the 3rd for PTTP, and heli-skiing on the 5th. The rest of the week is pretty much open to suggestion.
Anyone have any lift ticket discounts?"There is a hell of a huge difference between skiing as a sport- or even as a lifestyle- and skiing as an industry"

Judging from Xover's Superior TR, I think you have plenty of 'free tickets' earning your turns throughout the Wasnatch.
Go get sum.

Not sure if you'd be in for a day at The Canyons, but for anyone like yourself that looks Cancer in the eye and says, "Bring it, biatch" deserves a free day on me. Just name the day. Ski Monkey, Midget, Inspector Gadget, or myself could be your guide. Just PM me with the details if you're in. No worries if you don't want to ski the eastside. No worries at all.

powstash- perhaps the Canyons on thursday the 4th? Where does GT40 usually ski? I'm hoping to get in a day with him before he heads to Tahoe for the summit.

Plake, I believe the collectiv's fund can get you a car to roll around in for the trip.
I'll look into it and confirm in a day or two.

If this van is available, I'd like to drive it around LCC.

renting a car would probably be the best thing to do so you can get around, as you will be here during the week, and *most* of us work.
You should for sure take up that offer of powstash and try to get a basin day in before or after we heli-ski. Good luck. I'll be in touch this week.you sketchy character, you

powstash- perhaps the Canyons on thursday the 4th?A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
