Anyone skied the new Big Stix

thoughts on the 7.5 and 8.6? Are they as damp as last years ski now that they have the carbon construction? Is it similar to the construction of the Atomic Rex, I realize that the atomic may be stiffer?
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

    Thumbs up

Skied on the 8.6 at on-snow really liked it, nice and stable, really clean turns. Beefy enough to really put an edge into it and let the ski rail and bring it around. I think the best mid they have made for years. I'm skiing on an old mountain X (like Cletus was seling) in a 196 that has an extra sheet of titanal, but it doesn't have the snap that the 8.6 is.
Definitely damp, but I think that here is more of a dynamic "pop" to them this year, I really liked them.
Skiing, where my mind is even if my body isn't.
