MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
• There IS NOT a printed factory
mount line on the Pre-Release
Model; therefore each ski must
be measured to Armada’s
factory line:
• Measurement to the factory line
should be done from the tail of
the ski, in a straight line, as
follows:
• 165cm = 74cm from tail
• 183cm = 83cm from tail
• Drill Bit Recommendations –
Armada recommends it’s Step
Drill Bit (3,5/4,1x9,5) be used. If
bit is not available a 4,1x9,5 bit
can be used.
Anyone know if 11/12 Rossignol Sickle (S6) will have same graphics as 10/11 S6?

Taken from another thread. 2012 bent chetler
New Volkl ski, 119mm underfoot, Gotama-esque rocker profile except with a better tip, comes in a 183 and 192 (plus others most likely). Can't remember the name of it, looked pretty sweet though. Anyone else seen this one yet?
I kept reading and reading hoping Marshall would talk about future DPS skis... no such luck... you tease you!
Garmont Freeride boot for fall 2011. It will replace the aging Endorphin and be an overlap design like the Radium to compete with the Factor and the Titan.
New icelantic Ski- The Gypsy. Pretty wild ski. mid 120's underfoot. Should be on the demo fleet making its way around.

I didn't know anything about this ski until Greg saw it on the demo rack. Ben had been skiing it all day. Its a fun jibby oriented ski, I think there's just going to be a 181 and 191 but not positive if there will more. Fairly soft and as you can see a lot of rise/run rocker. I don't know much about it other than its something like a 150ish-123ish-140ish. Maybe one of the gang can chime in.....

OK, saw a bunch of the new stuff today. No photos, sorry.
SCARPA
All current 75mm stuff remains unchanged. They are bringing back the T4 with a non-moldable liner. Retails between $250 and $300.
NTN stuff gets an overhaul much like 75mm did this year. TX-Comp gets the new walk mode, the new instep buckle, and the new tongue liner. Same colors.
TX-Pro also gets the new walk mode, the new instep buckle, and the tongue liner. The boot is now black and orange, looks really good. There will also be a WOMEN'S TX-Pro, same features but silver with purple highlights. Comes as small as 22.5.
Most of the AT line is unchanged. The Hurricane gets a slight upgrade - the upper cuff will be the same as the Mobe, so it's a little bit stiffer than before (125 vs 120 flex). It also gets the tongue liner. There are two new boots in the line, the men's Rush and women's Blink. They are essentially 3-buckle versions of the Maestrale and Gea, basically all the same features but 90 grams lighter and a flex rating of 90.
BLACK DIAMOND
Pretty major changes to the BD line for next year:
SKIS
The Efficient series is unchanged. The Power series is completely revamped. I don't know exact dimensions, lengths offered, or anything like that.
-Gigawatt: mid-130s underfoot, nearly full rocker. Just a short flat part underfoot
-Megawatt: similar dimensions as now (maybe the same?) but tip and tail rocker and a bit stiffer
-Amp: 115ish underfoot, tip and tail rocker
-women's version of the Amp. Forget the name.
-Zealot: similar (same?) dimensions as current, longer tip rocker, sidewall and metal laminate construction
-Verdict: similar (same?) dimensions as current, slight tip rocker (more than Drift, less than current Justice), sidewall and metal laminate construction
-Warrant: replaces Kilowatt. 95 underfoot, sidewall construction, soft flexing
-women's version of the Warrant. Forget the name.
-Justice: this ski is now part of the Efficient series. Paulownia wood and carbon, adds skin clip on tail, 500g lighter and a bit softer than the current model.
BOOTS
Mostly minor stuff. The big one is the Method is gone, and is replaced by the Factor 110. All this really means is the cuff is a little stiffer laterally.
The liners are getting some minor improvements. They added a "flex zone" that supposedly adds 4 degrees range of motion while touring. The design is tweaked a little bit to fit better in the instep, but most importantly, there's a couple changes that should make the liner quite a bit warmer (addressing one of the main complaints about BD boots).
BINDINGS
The Fritschi Eagle is blue instead of green and now goes to 12 DIN. Other than that, bindings are the same.
Color schemes on all of the boots and skis are, well, very very loud. You will either love them or hate them. Think even louder than the Quadrant for the boots. The Gigawatt photo above gives a good idea of the ski graphics.
