    Nice, B!!

    I tried Shasta years ago on the first anniversary of my Dad's death. I was so ill prepared - had had foot surgery about 5 months earlier and was in piss poor shape. It kicked my ass, and I didn't make it past about 12,500. I'd be up for trying again.

    Noice! Which route did you take? obviously, not the main-slog of avy gulch/cassaval ridge, as i saw you guys were packing ropes and had a pic of a glacier. was that upper whitney glacier?

    also, what route did you descend? thx for sharing the pics/stoke! i love that mtn, especially the 7k descent

    You thinking the weekend of the 8th or the weekend of the 15th? I might be able to spring one or the other free (but I really should be on my mountain bike).
