Maggot Rollcall: Las Lenas (winter season) 2007!

Who is going to be skiing in SA this coming summer? I'm in for August/Sept in Las Lenas followed surfing in Brazil for the month of October. Score for year and a half long surgery waiting lists!!!

Let's see how things shape it with my thesis and possible Grad-student- or work-position...

Provided I have the €€€'s... I'll be at LL a few weeks.

I'm thinking about it... it would be nice, but it already looks like this summer will be very busy.

Do a search, the thread by Squirrel was invaluable when I was planning my trip and the other trip reports also have good information. If you can, fly into Argentina (Buenos Aires, and out of Santiago) you'll save some coin that way.

If you know your history, then you would know where you coming from, then you wouldn't have to ask me, who the heck do I think I am.

Jaw surgery. Nothing broken, I DO have to have braces for another year and a half now, however.

Dr. Croatch in Calgary. My first surgeon went ballistic and gave all his cases to other docs in the city.

I know some of the surgeons in Van and some of my friends have had it done... your face will swell up to the size of a basketball and it'll be soft foods for a while... but it'll be worth it in the end.

I'm heading there probably the last week of August or the first week of September with my mum...hoping to ditch her for some days and hook-up with some mags who are there to ski. Mum totally wants to ski SA while she still can ski at 63....I'm totally looking forward to this trip.

My dad is 63 and kept up with me for 12 days skiing in Switzerland, followed by a week at that private ski resort in Montana, then another ski trip to a ski lodge in the Purcells for a week and just got back from a week cat skiing at Chatter Creek- I'm sure he'll be skiing like this for many years to come, don't give up hope on your mom!

I'll be down there for a couple of weeks around mid-July. Definitely hitting LL, maybe I'll head to Bariloche for a bit as well.

Hopefully this year will be my triumphant return to SA, as it's been a couple years of missed trips now since my last visit.

If it works out, it's likely to be Bari for me, but depending on the length of the stay and the conditions, I might try to get up to LL.

As usual, it'll be an audible at the line of scrimmage.
